Our SB team enjoyed helping spread the Holiday cheer to all the children in the United Boys and Girls Club (UBGC) this year! While socially distancing, we were able to serve hot meals, help make ornaments, and spend time with the kids in this non-profit youth development agency.

UBGC’s mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens”. It was a blast to help serve the Lompoc Club and bring the children a positive, safe, and fun experience! With COVID-19 we were able to participate in an alternative celebration, and still help raise the Holiday spirits! An article recently published by the Santa Barbara News-Press mentioned how “Santa visited all five sites, and each location served breakfast. In addition, each kid received a toy, a $25 gift card from Target and a special toy donated by Travis and Amanda Twining, owners of Giffin Rental Company.” Michael Paskin, CEO of The Paskin Group said “By far, my favorite moment of the event was seeing the pure joy in the kids’ faces as they opened their presents from Santa. For some of them, those will be the only gifts they receive this year, and knowing that my company and I had a small part in making that happen filled everyone in the gym with the holiday spirit.”
