Violet is a 160-unit, 1984 built property in Austin, TX. We closed on this purchase in September of 2020 and we have begun our value-add improvement program. This boutique community features apartment homes which are not brand new, but still provide similar apartment and community amenities compared to newly built properties in the area. We are excited about this property as it is in a rapidly growing area of Austin which has desirable retail, and it represents the low cost alternative housing option. This has been a favorable combination which we target in all our investments. We have begun a number of operational changes to improve the resident experience which have been successful at our 12 Dallas – Fort Worth communities. Our team anticipates modest rent growth as we improve the resident experience and given the current environment. However, we are confident in our ability to maintain high occupancy levels.
