The Paskin Group’s Santa Barbara office had the pleasure of taking part in the JDRF One Walk on Saturday, October 9 at Leadbetter Beach. The funds raised by the walk – including sponsorship provided by The Paskin Group – will go directly to Type 1 Diabetes research. Type 1 Diabetes (sometimes called Juvenile Diabetes) affects children and adults alike, with no warning, and so far there is no cure. JDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research, and their goal is to “turn Type One into Type None.”

The TPG team turned out early on Saturday to staff our booth and hand out fresh fruit, snacks, and cold drinks on a very hot morning. When it came time to walk the 5k, our office dog was there to show his support along with the rest of the team.

Together, we raised over $150,000 toward Type One Diabetes research. We are very proud to have been a part of an excellent event in support of an important cause. See you next year!
